Baptism Dress

I am so excited to post about what I have been working on. A special dress for a special Day. I feel like I just wasnt able to capture the full beauty of this dress in these pictures. This chiffon dress is so whimsy and flows beautifully when she walks in it. I am hoping to get some good pictures of the sweet girl wearing this dress on her special day this coming weekend.

Funky Fall Dress

Dont you just LOVE this color combo?? For this fun little dress I started out with the circle skirt.

I found the basic yellow long sleeve shirt at TARGET. I cut off the shirt where I wanted to join the two together and here is the end result.

Out with the fringies

With the cooler weather upon us, out comes everyones favorite fall accessory...the scarf. The eternity scarves are popular right now. Here is a scarf that I have removed the fringies and turned into an eternity scarf. I used a FRENCH SEAM to do this project.

Check out the steps for a FRENCH SEAM if you arent familiar with it. With right sides OUT sew the ends together.

Cut the fringies off and continue finishing the french seam.

I wrapped it around L three times for a final look. It only goes around my neck twice. Now go for it!!! Give your scarves a makeover for the season.
